Good kitchen knives are an essential in my kitchen and ‘Global’ is the brand that I usually buy. They can be a little on the expensive side, so my plan is to purchase an item from the range bit by bit until I’ve worked my up to the full set – I fear this may take a while. So when I came across these award-winning knives from Kitchen Devils, that promised excellent quality, and also a hell of a lot cheaper, I was more than keen to test them. I was sent a large and small cook’s knife to try.
The knives are made from super sharp Japanese steel, and are very comfortable to use with its non-slip, soft-grip, handle. They also have a decent weight to them that made me feel safe using them. The large knife is good for chopping and dicing, meat and vegetables, and the small knife for prepping fruit and smaller vegetables, and in fact, good for many more uses.
These are great knives and at very good prices for the quality you get: the small retails at £8.99 and the large at £12.49. I have a long-standing love affair with my Global knives though, so I shan’t be giving up the chase on those, but these Kitchen Devils are a very welcome addition.
Kitchen Devils knives are available at: Asda, Lakeland, Morrisons and independent kitchen and hardware stores throughout the UK or go to better still, enter this competition to be in with chance of winning a knife block set from the range, RRP £39.99. The set includes:
