As an ex-graphic designer I’m always interested in the way things look, especially with regards to packaging and printed materials as a whole. Design can help give a particular feel that you’d liked to convey and, when used in advertising, to tempt you to buy things!
I was recently sent some samples of newly designed Cupcake Wrappers from Paper Themes who specialise in manufacturing wedding stationery and accessories.
Designs range from the bold and simple, to the intricate and delicate, and from the vintage to the modern. The paper is of a decent weight, and comes in a variety of finishes. It is sturdy enough, yet still pliable as it folds nicely around the cupcake and is easy to bend and lock into place. The colours are vibrant and the print quality sharp.
The Cupcake Wrappers fit the standard cupcake. There is a little bit of give in the design, but it wouldn’t suit much bigger than that really. The best thing about the Cupcake Wrappers is that some of the designs can be personalised, so if you were looking to add a chic, personal touch to your weddings, parties or other events then these would be ideal.
